About Peabo Bryson

Peabo Bryson the legendary voice of love, is back, and music has never been happier. Peabo is not just “back”, he is back and collaborating with powerhouse producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for his 21st album titled "Stand For Love".

This music dream team has delivered something music and music fans didn’t know was missing... R&B HITS.

The lead single off this 11 track masterpiece, “Love Like Yours and Mine,” makes it clear that Peabo is better than ever.

The second single, “All She Wants To Do Is Me”, has already been featured on the Showtime hit series The Chi. Peabo’ s smooth delivery orchestrated by Jimmy and Terry’s flawless production has made this single an instant groove classic that is familiar to Peabo’ s seasoned fans but has also caught the ear of some new ones.

Stand For Love is an anticipated and epic return to popular music by one of the industries most gifted and cherished voices. “Peabo is just one of the greatest voices of our time,” said Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in a joint statement. “He exudes a class and sophistication that’s so needed in music today. I know R&B needs Peabo Bryson especially now. And his fans both old and new will fall in love with "Stand For Love.”

Born Robert L. Bryson on April 13, 1951 in Greenville, South Carolina, this world-renowned balladeer got his start as the lead singer of Al Freeman & The Upsetters and Moses Dillard & The Tex-Town Display. In 1976, he released his debut LP, Peabo, on Atlanta’s Bullet/Bang label. Peabo composed nearly all the songs for this album (some with the great Thom Bell), in addition to a young Luther Vandross being among the background vocalists, and sexy Black film star Tamara “Cleopatra Jones” Dobson showing him love on the back jacket.

Peabo had back-to-back gold albums with Capitol Records, Reaching for the Sky (1977) and Crosswinds (1978). The title tracks of these albums, as well as the hit singles “Feel the Fire” and “I’m So Into You”, truly penetrated the hearts of soul fans everywhere. During his relationship with Capitol, Peabo collaborated with label mate and friend Natalie Cole for the 1979 project “We’re the Best of Friends”.

A year later he worked with the phenomenal Roberta Flack for the double-LP Live & More (on Atlantic Records). Peabo delivered four more albums for Capitol before making a second, even bigger album with Ms. Flack titled Born to Love, a gold seller that featured the smash “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” (Top 5 R&B and #16 Pop chart). Peabo soon moved over to Elektra Records for four albums, the second of which, Take No Prisoners featured the crossover smash “If Ever You’re In My Arms Again” (Top 10 Pop and R&B).

A return to Capitol in 1989 for the one-off album All My Love, earned Peabo his first R&B #1 single with a remake of the late Al Wilson’s “Show & Tell”. He hit the top of the R&B charts a second time with the smash “Can You Stop The Rain”, the title track of one of his two chart topping albums with Columbia Records. It was with the help of very famous Disney animated films that Peabo earned his

two Grammys and the songs two Oscars®. The first was 1991’s “Beauty and the Beast”, a duet with international pop singer Celine Dion which topped the pop charts. The very next year, Peabo struck gold with a Grammy® and an Oscar® with Regina Belle on “A Whole New World” (Aladdin’s Theme) from Aladdin.

Since these two milestones, Peabo has been even more sought after as a guest vocalist and duet partner, resulting in work with Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga on “We Kiss in the Shadows” (#1 on the Classical Crossover  chart  from  a  new recording of “The King and I” score) and Kenny G’s “By The Time This Night is Over” (from the chart topping Contemporary Jazz CD, Breathless).

Peabo has also starred on stage in the lead role of “Raisin,” as The Wizard in “The Wiz” and was featured in the Michigan Opera’s 100th anniversary production of “Porgy & Bess.” Additionally, he released a whopping three Christmas CDs, lovingly filled with music he’s performed for several years running in the annual touring holiday music extravaganza, The Colors of Christmas. As Peabo continues to make feel good music and sing about love, he encourages fans of classic R&B to have their voices heard. Leading an initiative called “The Choice,” he wants fans and advocates of classic R&B to actively support the genre. The time for complaining is over and albums like Stand For Love support the goal of this initiative. Choose Love. Choose R&B. Choose Peabo.

Beyond his own music, Mr. Bryson is looking to help nurture deserving new artists. “I'd like to find some serious talent and give them wings,” he states. ““As far as I'm concerned, everything is going to get better,” Peabo concludes. “I'm feeling like I’m in a really good place musically.” With the lead single “Love Like Yours and Mine” released in April, the much-anticipated Stand For Love album is available NOW!

Peabo Bryson has established a career as one of the premier male vocalists in contemporary music of the last quarter century. Possessing a beautifully rich, almost operatic voice, this two-time Grammy Award-winner has survived and prospered despite the passage of time and changes in popular musical trends.

With twenty albums to his credit, Peabo Bryson has enjoyed an unprecedented, across-the-board level of international success, Bryson has the distinction of being the first artist in music history to have separate records topping four different charts.

About Haley Reinhart

A timeless voice outlasts eras. It feels just as at home in the sixties as it does in the TikTok age. It also resounds louder as time goes on. Haley Reinhart brandishes such a voice. The expansive scope of her range comes into full focus on her 4th album, Lo-Fi Soul. In many ways, Haley began working towards this album and her artistry as a child. Mom and dad share a "Midnight Band," and unsurprisingly, their daughter would sing before she could talk. She spent countless hours engaged in rhyming games with her mother or locked into a call-and-response as a baby with her father.

In 2009, Haley was the first songstress ever to join her high school jazz band where they performed at both Montreux and Umbria jazz festivals. Her fascination with all things classic continued as she became a fan of The Beatles and Janis Joplin, to Ella Fitzgerald and Sly & The Family Stone. These influences also led her to record a full album at Sunset Sound, paying homage to classic rock and pop hits from the late sixties

titled, What’s That Sound. Haley plays regularly with Robby Krieger of The Doors among other rock legends; she continues to keep her rock 'n' roll roots intact.

The gold-certified Chicago-born/Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter exudes an empowering level of charisma and confidence earned by a quiet, decade-long grind. Haley landed third place and became a fan favorite on season 10 of American Idol. She recently returned to AI, this time as a mentor, coaching contestants singing in the Soul Genre. Her dynamic presence powered four solo albums— Listen Up! [2012] Interscope Records, Better [2016] Red Dot, What’s That Sound? [2017] Concord Records, and Lo- Fi Soul [2019] on her self-owned label, Reinhart Records. Haley has been known to leave her mark on countless films and commercials singing in the new Mazda ad, Chase Bank, as well as shows including Love Island, Gossip Girl, Nashville, Riverdale, The Wilds, America’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and the list goes on...

Meanwhile, her take on the Elvis Presley classic, Can’t Help Falling In Love, received a gold plaque from the RIAA and generated over 325 million Spotify streams and 100 million YouTube views within a few years of its release. What started off as a version sung for an Extra Gum Commercial, turned out to be a chart topping-radio hit and touring

sensation. Haley’s remake of the song peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and No. 31 on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart.

As a sought-after talent, Haley collaborates regularly with Postmodern Jukebox. She is featured on their highest viewed videos on YouTube (over 300 million views). Haley has also dueted with legendary star Jeff Goldblum on two tracks from his chart-topping jazz standards collection, The Capitol Studios Sessions. Haley joined Jeff for an unforgettable performance on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!. In 2019, she continued pushing boundaries by lending her voice and songwriting skills to Vicetone’s EDM dance hit, Something Strange as well as an EDM version of Radiohead’s Creep with DJ Naeleck in 2022.

Expanding her oeuvre, Haley voices a young boy named Bill Murphy on the Netflix hit animated series based on comedian Bill Burr’s childhood - F Is For Family (seasons one through five out now). She made her acting debut in the #1 hit Robert Rodriguez film on Netflix titled, We Can Be Heroes, where she plays a superhero whose voice is her power.

Haley is not slowing down. You can catch her performance in the refreshing new documentary, 'An Impossible Project.’ And a sequel to We Can Be Heroes is now in the works. Haley’s newest EP, 'Off The Ground,' released worldwide on September 4, 2022. The extended play features seven original songs all either written or co-written by Haley.

Beginning in Fall 2022, Haley has headlined venues throughout the US on her “Off The Ground Tour”. The tour has already hit 52 cities. Haley brings her show to the West Coast this Spring and Fall.
